Montana Paper Asks Flathead Reservation Residents to Support DC Voting Rights

It's been a month since our trip to Big Sky country but our message is still resonating. Kevin and I had a great conversation with reporter Maggie Plummer of the Char-Koosta News during our trip to Pablo. We talked politics, cities, voting, dogs...everything. But we kept coming back to the injustice of DC's disenfranchisement.

Read Maggie's coverage of the struggle for DC voting rights here in her article for the Char-Koosta News.

Do You Have Family or Friends in Oregon? Let Us Know!

Don't hold out on us... If you have a friend, family member or colleague in Oregon, please let us know. We'd love to chat with them - either in person during our trip the week of March 10 or via e-mail. When it comes to spreading the message about DC's denial of voting rights - the more the merrier!

E-mail me at jquinto@dcvote.org to share your contacts from Oregon. I need more friends, especially ones who support DC voting rights!

Hitchin' a Ride With the Bus Project

Save the date for a DC Vote/Oregon Bus Project throwdown. Join us for a bar crawl ending in a happy hour ending in the largest mobilization of Oregon voters in support of DC voting rights. Save some time for us on the evening of Thursday, March 13, for a good time and an even better issue.
We'll start at Vincente's Pizza at 1935 SE Hawthorne, Portland, at 5:30 PM. Have some free pizza and swag courtesy of DC Vote. Oh, and we'll bend your ear a little about DC voting rights. But, hey, free pizza!

Thank you Big Sky country!

We're back in the District and settling into our brand new office space. We had such a wonderful time meeting with the warm, welcoming people of Montana. Thank you to all of our new friends in Big Sky country. You taught us that Americans across the country truly do value democracy and fairness.
